Fifth and sixth graders will play an eight-week field hockey season with one weeknight practice and games on Saturdays. Basic skills such as dribbling, passing, receiving, shooting and tackling will be reviewed. Many advanced skills will be taught, including ball control, passing accuracy, stationary and moving receptions, dodges, defensive tackles, and shot selection. Team concepts such as team defense, mid-field play, and circle play will be reinforced through small games and game situations. Saturday games will be played against other in-house Strike teams.

• Any program registrations occurring after August 20, 2011 will be charged a $25 late fee.
  
• Any registration cancellations occurring after August 20, 2011 will be charged a $25 cancellation fee.

Special Requests: If you would like your daughter to be placed in a group with her friends, please list up to two friends’ names in the Friend Request Section of the on-line registration form.

Follow-up Communication: We will e-mail you your daughter’s group information and day 1 details by September 3, 2011.

Inclement Weather Policy: In case of inclement weather that prevents us from playing, we would cancel our STRIKE session by 7:30 am on the day of STRIKE, and notify you by e-mail. Please assume that STRIKE is on, unless you hear from us otherwise.
